THE 2013 audition of the Guyana Telephone & Telegraph Company’s (GT&T) Jingle and Song Competition will continue today at Little Rock Suites on Main Street in New Amsterdam, Berbice. The series, which commenced last week in Linden, saw a small turnout, with just 15 persons qualifying for the next round.

Some 100 persons have registered to contest in Berbice, while others would be allowed to come to the venue and register to be a part of the process.
Meanwhile, a guest judge will join the panel as the hearings commence at 09:00 hrs. Other panellists are Gordon Moseley, Joel Ghansham, Shawn Bhola, Charmaine Blackman and Celia Samaroo.

The auditioning will continue next weekend in the ‘Cinderella County’ of Essequibo, before resuming at the National Cultural Centre in Georgetown for what is expected to be the largest contest.
