I believe God created man and never abandoned him

IN the January 19, 2013 Chronicle Newspapers, I noticed an interesting heading on the letter section titled:  ‘Does God believe in using commonsense?’ Now, this was quite a simplistic yet powerful and moving story by the writer Anthony Panlitz describing abuse to a woman by her husband or man, and the conversation that followed.  He believed that the woman should not go home as the man threatened her for spending his money, and she should use commonsense.  However, she said:  God will watch over her.

This opens some powerful thoughts on Rationality, Realization and Faith.  This letter I write may create some interesting discourse, but I ask the people who like to be argumentative to please not be, but instead be intellectual and argue with a beautiful voice or exhort with them a goodly exhortation, as the Holy Quran describes, and I think all the Holy Scriptures will agree with that kind of discussion.

Some will say, look her faith will protect her, but Mr. Panlitz asked if you were wounded and bleeding, would you ask to go to the hospital or just expect God to turn up and look after you.

On my behalf, I believe in the power of human thought; the power and capacity of the human rationale and that thought coupled with realisation will produce supreme consciousness and power to the human being and/or His psyche.  This, or these powers within the human pulls universal energies from within his being and the Universe, now called the Universal laws of Attraction, and enormous powers could be conjured to stop bleeding, as I know a man did.  He commanded the blood of his damaged finger to stop or slow tremendously, and it did, but look, he kept rushing to the hospital for attention.  This is the wise man, a smart man.

Hence, as a Believer in God and the divine attributes in the universe and in us as humanity, we have the ability to achieve all kinds of things, material, and spiritual.  At times, even unfortunately having all ones’ prayers answered, for one may not be able to handle or use what one prays for, or asks the Universe and the Creator of it to give Him.  Much depends on his genetic-bearing, his leadership skills, and ability to manage wealth, etc.

I believe God blew into Man the Breath of Life and He, man, became a living soul.   Fellow creationists will agree, including many Christians and Muslims.  They will believe that was the point of creation, that man started to breathe after his image was crafted out of dust (this is another great discussion we can go into later).
I believe that this breath, was not the breath of breathing, but the breath of the thinking power God imbued man with.  The ability to think, hence, man’s title of himself as Homo Sapiens (Thinking man, Wise Man, etc).  This gave him the power to have thought, to master and muster thought; to create, to invent, to research, to create laws, scientific data, and to get better at them all, and more; as one scripture says:  You want to go beyond, then go if you dare go, as if teaching, albeit, challenging him to climb (travel) to the stars, as if to witness the expansion of the universe, (as scientists do now and can see), as it currently still expands in God’s creative genius, which is so vividly described in that scripture.  Read the Quran, Bible and Science by Maurice Baucille.

Now, let us return to the caption of the letter quoted above.  What should the woman have done?  As a Believer in God, a rational one, a thinking one who uses thoughts for healing, praying, and achieving spiritual and physical accomplishments (Power of Positive Thinking). I believe the woman should have strengthened herself with her faith and know that God will watch over her, but also that he gave her the power to ‘think!’  Therefore, she should have stayed away until he cooled off, maybe going to a relative, or friend, or a temple or Church, or any sanctuary or cloister for meditation, thinking, prayers, rest and relaxation.

In the same way, in this case, the writer talks about the bleeding to death, believing in God or going to a hospital.  Yes, look at the wound, and as some people master and slow down the heartbeat, do not get excited and cause the blood to flow more, ease the breathing as that pumps the blood faster; calm the thoughts and breathing, and get to a hospital for medical attention earliest. That is how God would help, maybe even sending a Good Samaritan to advise, as the letter writer was.  If I am to tell that injured person do not cry, as a child would usually say in their pretty childish way:  Do not worry, God will help you (use the child’s voice here to get the power of what I am saying), then if that person perishes I could be charged for manslaughter.
In the same way some charlatan faith healers, and we have many in Guyana, sometimes beat spirits out of people and even cause some to be injured and even die. One lady in Alberttown is in jail right now, I think, for causing death in a similar case.  During the 1998 political protests, she was marching in the streets with her followers, chanting spells on Mrs. Janet Jagan:  ‘We gun wuuk pun she, we gun wuk pun she,’ with a white doll in her hand and needles stuck in it.

This letter is bringing out so many issues.  Herbal healers, as well, cannot tell people not to go see a doctor; they should practise their trade once properly qualified and certified by the state, but still send the patient to the medical doctor. Also, the patient must let the doctor know they are taking herbal medications, and then the doctor may say ‘stop the herbs’, but then it is the patient who decides whether to choose one, or the other, and the herbal specialist is without fault.

Faith healers can be helpful, but they must never tell patients to believe only in their methods.  They still must send the patient to or advise the patient to see a medical doctor.
There is such healing as Chakra healing, Reikie healing, both of which I have studied, but still I will tell my family and friends I helped to still consult a medical specialist.  I believe in mystical and healing verses of the Holy Quran, The Holy Bible, The Bhagavad Gita, the Teachings of Buddha, etc., written and recited, while calling upon the Universal Energies to help the individual, or bless the water or the oil, but still I will tell the family or friend, you should consult a doctor.  Those faith healers who ask for money or expect compensation for divine healing are fakes; run for your life.

Yes, friends, some will agree and some will disagree, let us have your discussion with rationality and intelligence. “In a beautiful voice,” not mockery and criticism, and see how far this discussion goes.

Some may ask why I studied Reiki healing and Chakra Healing. Well because in the same way we have gamma rays, ultra-violet rays, x-rays, radiation and so many other numerous energies in the universe, all from which man can benefit or be destroyed, in the same way I believe there is evil, which some use to hurt, and there are healing forces, which can be used to cleanse, and help.

I believe God created man, and never abandoned him, and he set everything in nature, in the universe to help and cure him:  in the air, the sunlight, the herbs, the earth (and its minerals which can help, enrich and destroy like uranium, gold, sulphur, phosphorous); the vegetables and fruits, like the pomegranates whose healing powers astonishes scientists; the honey with all its cures and healing prowess, the peach fruit which is so delicious to the taste, but whose seed makes hydrogen cyanide that produces instant death. Another delicious to the taste but the seed can make explosives in the right quantities, as all the radiating energies can be manipulated for good and bad.
The atom, which man thought was the smallest indivisible particle, could now be split, and used to heal, create space travel and medical machines, and make the worst of nuclear weapons that can blow the earth to smithereens.

Man does not listen, except for a few. He, God Almighty, sent prophets to remind and guide, to teach, etc., but Thinking Man, Rational Man, uses his energies for destruction, for pain and harm.  Those who do the good and wise things help to keep the world in balance.

Yes, friends, believe in God, but if the mountain is spewing lava, run for shelter.  If the oceans are rising, follow the dumb animals, and move to higher ground, and then give praise for the power of thought, the ability to think.

I like to think that the wiring of my brains with its complex neurological system that moves from the brain to the entire body; and the blood vessels and arteries that move from the heart to the brain and entire body, which man cannot explain still, was done by a wise and beloved almighty and loving God, and not created by chance in mass confusion and stupidity.

Some will argue that well, what about Hell? I know it was not meant to be everlasting, but created out of love, to purify those without faith, who made no sacrifice to be God-Like, by their deeds, for cleansing.  Hell was meant for cleansing, not for punishing. As if the God and Creator will sit and enjoy people in pain. Even they, God wishes to have with Him in the end.  That is why He is referred to as a loving God.
