THE Athletics Association of Guyana (AAG) yesterday met with coaches to set up the Association’s Coaching Structure.
The persons appointed are Wanda Richmond – Chief Coach, Cornell Rose – Assistant Chief Coach, Lyndon Wilson – Sprints Head Coach, Robert Chisholm – Middle and Long Distance Head Coach, Rawle Griffith – Head Coach of Jumps and Christopher Gaskin – Head Coach of Throws.
This comes just over a week after the association had its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and is now under new leadership.
Meanwhile, the Associations’ Calendar of Events (COE) for 2013 was released and will kick-start on February 3 with the National Cross Country Championships from 16:00hrs at the National Park.
