RK’s donates minibus to Peace Federation, Joshua House

RK’S Dragnet Satellite Tracking and Asset Recovery, in association with its parent company, RK’s Guyana Security Services, has donated a $2.5M minibus to Universal Peace Federation (UPF) and Joshua House Orphanage.

altThe handing over was done on January 1 in the presence of the Hemispheric Head of UPF and the Unification Church, Reverend Tateo Yamaoka; Unificationist and Moral Education Specialist, Professor T. Furuta and Reverend Ronald McGarrell, General Secretary of the Guyana Chapter.
Present, too, were officers of RK’s Guyana Group, including Mrs. L. Khan, Finance Director and Mr. Roshan Khan, Chief Executive Officer(CEO)/Founder of the donor company.
The ceremonial Unificationist Prayer was performed by Yamaoka, in the compound of the Unification Church, the Universal Peace Federation Headquarters in Guyana and the Orphanage, Lot 255 Thomas Street, South Cummingsburg, Georgetown.
In his remarks on the occasion, Khan said he had noted, for some time, that the UPF, which comprises hundreds of ambassadors of peace in Guyana and tens of thousands around the world, was suffering for reliable transport due to its motor car being inoperable and the General Secretary of the Guyana Chapter was having much difficulty executing the mandate travelling to all parts of Guyana and servicing the Joshua House Orphanage was experiencing hardships.
He continued:“As an ambassador of peace, who knows the magnitude and importance of the work of peace being done in the country and the necessity of reliable transport, I was moved by God to make this presentation and[was] supported by RK’s management and family.
“RK’s Group always believed in giving back to society and serving humanity at large and helping in the general development of the great country Guyana we all call home.”
Khan said RK’s expressed gratitude to its clients, including a few government locations, the private enterprise, some Chinese businesses and several diplomatic locations for their support which helped make the presentation possible and affordable.
Yamaoka acknowledged the gratitude of the Federation and its many international organs, pointing out that the bus has already been a great asset and will “work much in God’s Service in the great democratic country of Guyana.”
