JUDGES’ assignments of duties for civil and criminal cases in the three counties of Guyana were announced yesterday by Acting Chief Justice Mr. Ian N. Chang, SC., CCH, to

take effect for the period January 1, 2013 to March 31, 2013.
The Hon. Justice Naresh Harnanan will be in charge of Bail Court; the Hon. Justice Diane Insanally will be assigned to Chambers undefended; the Hon Justice Rishi Persaud will be attached to the Commercial Court; whilst the Hon. Chief Justice (ag), the Hon. Justice William Ramlal, and the Hon. Justice James Bovell-Drakes  will be attached to the Demerara Civil Court.
The Hon. Justice Roxanne George, the Hon. Justice Navindra Singh, and the Hon. Justice Dawn Gregory will be attached to the Demerara Criminal Session; whilst the Hon. Justice Sandra Kurtzious will be attached to the Berbice Civil Court, and the Hon Justice Brassington Reynolds will be attached to the Berbice Criminal Court.
The Hon. Justice Franklyn Holder will be attached to the Essequibo Civil and Criminal Courts.
The Hon. Chief Justice (ag.), the Hon Justice William Ramlal, the Hon Justice James Bovell-Drakes, the Hon. Justice Roxanne George, the Hon. Justice Dawn Gregory and the Hon. Justice Navindra Singh will be attached to the Demerara Full Court.
The Hon Chief Justice (ag.), the Hon. Justice Sandra Kurtzious, and the Hon. Justice Brassington Reynolds will be attached to the Berbice Full Court.
