BUSINESSWOMAN Maria Mora Martin, 47, was attacked and robbed outside her Cummings Street and South Road, Georgetown premises last December 1.

Police investigating the crime said the attack occurred about 13:00 hrs when a man, armed with a handgun, took away gold jewellery, $500,000, a Brazilian passport and a driver’s licence.
Initial investigations revealed that Martin had gone to her motor car which was parked on South Road and was confronted by the perpetrator.
The man drew a gun and relieved her of a handbag containing the booty and escaped on a waiting motorcycle.
