AN 18 year old motor cyclist died Thursday night in a city hospital after an accident with a hire car on the Zorg -en -Vlugt public road, Essequibo Coast.

Reports said the motor cyclist Muzid Jabbar of Vilvooden was riding home heading south when he collided with the hire car that was heading towards Anna Regina in a northern direction.
The young rider was hurled several feet into the air and on impact sustained serious injuries to his body. He was picked up in an unconscious condition and rushed to the Suddie Hospital and then air dashed to a city hospital where he died.
Police are investigating.
