Daby released on station bail

PAUL Ramsuchit Daby(Snr)turned himself in after a bulletin was issued for him, earlier this week, by the police who said they wanted to question him in relation to two recent murders.

However, he was released on station bail yesterday.
Daby was accompanied by a lawyer and was held overnight at Eve Leary in Georgetown and questioned about the execution style killing of Marlon ‘Trini’ Osborne and Ricardo Rodrigues, both of whom were gunned down within weeks of each other.
Daby, called ‘Uncle Paul’, ‘Coolie Paul’ and ‘Big Man’, had been overseas when the police said they wanted him and, on his return to Guyana, he reported to them.
Osborne, 32, of Achievement Place, South Ruimveldt, was killed about 14:00hrs on October 31, in Laluni Street, Queenstown, also in Georgetown.
He is said to have been a close associate of the dead Rodrigues, who suffered a similar fate two weeks before at the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC), ‘Pit Shop’ restaurant and bar at Thomas Lands, in the city, too.
