Barbados invites 23 to Caribbean T20 national trials

TWENTY-three players have been invited to national trials by the new Barbados selection committee for the 2013 Caribbean Twenty20 tournament to be played in Trinidad & Tobago & St Lucia in January. The squad was announced this morning by chairman of selectors Henderson Wallace in the presence of fellow selectors Sherlon Greaves, Henderson Broomes and Henderson Springer, the Barbados Cricket Association (BCA) Director of Coaching, at a Press conference in the Hall & Griffith Stand at Kensington Oval.
Also in attendance were Conde Riley, the BCA First vice-president and chairman of the BCA Cricket Development Committee and new Barbados team manager Hartley Reid, who is also a BCA Board member.
Squad: Tino Best, Sulieman Benn, Ryan Hinds, Javon Searles, Shamarh Brooks, Shane Dowrich, Joel M. Leacock, Jamar Griffith, Kyle Mayers, Jonathan Carter, Ashley Nurse, Ramon Greaves, Rashidi Boucher, Renaldo Brathwaite, Marrodon Bend, Kirk Gibson, Khalid Springer, Alcindo Holder, Renaldo Parris, Fidel Edwards, Dwayne Smith, Carlos Brathwaite, Kyle Hope.
