Laparkan promises customers better services for Christmas

LAPARKAN Group of Companies hosted a media briefing yesterday to update the general public of the improvements to deliver better service in a hassle free environment for the Christmas season.

altSpeaking at the Lombard Street, Georgetown office, Sales Manager Yonette Jeffers said patrons have a right to know where Laparkan has been in the past, how far it has come and, most importantly, its aim for the future.
General Manager Oscar Phillips said Laparkan is always willing to serve Guyanese and Laparkan is striving to ensure that the highest level of service is met.
He said the company has deliberately tailored services to deliver betterment for customers in the wider Caribbean region, as well.
Phillips pointed out that Laparkan has locations in most countries in the wider CARICOM but had been adding services every year to better serve the Guyanese people.
He said, of recent, persons are able to ship cargo from any country throughout the world at a subsidised rate and Laparkan recently acquired a new warehouse in Miami, Florida, to accommodate more cargo.
Phillips said, as it is, the company works with a lot of private and public entities to transport cargo from around the world.
In summary, he said the company is well prepared for the peak season of Christmas, with the promise of a far better service to customers worldwide.
Meanwhile, the drawing for the final Laparkan Promotion was also done yesterday, when the names of 24 lucky persons were drawn for the prizes of cricket balls which are autographed by living cricket legend Lance Gibbs.
Another 24 persons won US$20 discounts on all Laparkan cargo transactions.
