EON Fredericks, 21, of Lot 6 Mc Doom, East Bank Demerara, was remanded to prison yesterday, on a charge of robbery under arms.

He appeared before Magistrate Faith Mc Gusty, charged indictably, with having, on October 13, in the Promenade Gardens, Georgetown, being armed with a knife, robbed Joshua Singh of one BlackBerry cell phone valued $40,000.
Police Sergeant Winneth Hubbard, prosecuting, successfully objected to bail for the accused, citing the prevalence and seriousness of the offence.
Fredericks has to be back in court today, for a report and fixture of the case.
