POLICE, at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA), after conducting a search, discovered US$10,000 which was undeclared by an incoming passenger upon arrival on Monday.

It happened about 16:15 hrs when ranks on duty searched a Barbadian national who had arrived and failed to declare the money.
The man has been arrested and is in custody.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, another man is being held  and is expected to be charged shortly, following a cocaine bust in the interior.
Police reported that, about 13:30 hrs on Monday,police conducted a search on a man at Mahdia, Potaro, and found 161 grammes of cocaine concealed in a pumpkin.
