DORAN Keith James, 23, of Adventure, Soesdyke/ Linden Highway, was involved in a fatal accident on the Diamond Public Road, East Bank Demerara at about 11:35hrs yesterday. Raganauth Mohabir was injured in that accident. Police investigations have so far revealed that James and Mohabir were passengers in motor car PHH 2376 which was proceeding along the roadway when the driver allegedly swerved to avoid a collision with a truck overtaking a line of vehicles, and consequently lost control of the vehicle, causing it to crash into the Diamond Bridge.

The passengers were taken to the Diamond Diagnostic Centre, where James was pronounced dead on arrival while Mohabir was admitted a patient.(Michel Outridge)
