GRACE Kennedy Remittance Services (Guyana) Ltd, under the Bill Express brand, on Monday, celebrated its 10th anniversary of serving Guyanese customers.
Marketing Manager, Ms. Natheath King-Mendonca told the media at its Water Street, Georgetown Head Office, that, after 10 years, they have 58 locations countrywide and are noted for their excellent customer service based on reliability.
She recalled that their vision of providing a first class bill payment service to Guyanese was the objective since 2002 when Grace Kennedy Remittance Services (Jamaica) introduced its one stop business, Bill Express in Guyana.
King-Mendonca said, cognisant of the demands for such a system here, Bill Express began operations at nine locations across this country and offers payments for utility services, school fees, cable and Internet bills and even micro-financing repayments.
She said they are willing to venture into new areas where they can provide convenience and reliability to customers and billers alike with their five days a week opening at all locations.
King-Mendonca said, from the inception, they have made it a priority to transform lives by investing in key sectors, such as education, sports, culture, social and community development and they remain committed to the undertaking.
For the 10th anniversary observance, Bill Express also honoured two persons, an agent Paul Fraser, who is the proprietor of C&F Supermarket, and a long serving customer, Claire De Groot, both of whom received tokens.
At the Bill Express Head Office, employees shared cake and beverages to customers in celebration of the occasion.
A month of activities is also planned, including a quiz promotion and give-away prizes between October 5 and 31 and Bill Express bus rides from October 15 to 19.
