CHAD Terrence, 18, of Goed Intent, West Bank Demerara, was killed in an accident on the La Grange Public Road, also on the West Bank Demerara, at about 02:30hrs yesterday.

According to a police report, Terence was in a hire car, driven by Theophilus Benjamin, 29, and two other men when the driver lost control of the vehicle and ran into a canal at the side of the road.
Terrence was pronounced dead on arrival at the West Demerara Regional Hospital, while Benjamin was admitted with injuries to his shoulder.
The other two occupants of the vehicle were treated for minor injuries and sent home.
