THE SCHOOL of the Nations has every reason to celebrate results for the Cambridge University (UK) International O-Levels (IGCSE), the Advanced Subsidiary and Advanced Level 6th Form examinations, which have just been released.
At the May/June sitting of this year, 159 students from the School of the Nations wrote a total of 430 examinations in sixteen subject areas at the Cambridge Advanced Subsidiary and Advanced Level. The performance rates were as follows: At the Advanced Subsidiary level – 71% of the exams written achieved a passing grade of A-E; while at the Advanced Level, 95% achieved a passing grade of A-E.
Forty per cent of the examinations written at the Advanced Level achieved a grade of A, B or C. The school also secured 100% passes at the Advanced Level in the following subjects: Accounts, Biology, Business, Economics, Law, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology and Sociology.
Amongst the outstanding achievers doing the School proud at the Advanced Subsidiary and Advanced Level were:

In the Fifth Form, the overall pass rate was 91%, and 57% of the tests written achieved a grade A, B or C. Moreover, 100% passes were achieved in the following subject areas: Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Environmental Management, Spanish and History. In addition, the following subjects received pass rates between 90 – 99%: Commerce, Economics, English Language, Geography, Physics and Sociology.
