PRESIDENTIAL Adviser on Governance, Ms. Gail Texiera has congratulated top Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) Sarah Hakh of Golden Fleece, Essequibo Coast and the headmaster and staff of the Abram Zuil Secondary School for making Guyana proud. Speaking at a special conference of the People’s Progressive Party (PPP) at Cotton Field Secondary School on Saturday, Teixiera said the school is delivering quality education and she is extremely proud that a child from Region Two (Pomeronn/Supenaam) and the Abram Zuil Secondary School has won the top position at the CSEC examination. The Presidential Adviser said that many years ago the top students of examinations were from most city schools but today under the PPP/C government several top students are emerging from rural areas outside of the city.
She said the government is providing equal education opportunities to all students. Other regional officials also joined in congratulating the student for making Essequibo proud.
