POLICE are investigating the murder of Terry Warren, 24, at Mango Creek, Pomeroon River, which occurred at about 22:00 hrs on Sunday, July 29. A press release said investigations revealed that Warren was in a group of men imbibing at a house in Mango Creek, when he decided that he was leaving and taking away his electrical generator that he had taken with him and was providing electricity.
It is alleged that the other men became annoyed and beat and chopped the victim about his body and his corpse is at Suddie Hospital mortuary on Essequibo Coast.
One person has since been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations, the release said.
