GPL presents GPF with trophies for its upcoming athletics championships

THE Guyana Power and Light Inc., represented by PRO Shevion Sears-Murray, presented three trophies to Police Asst. Superintendent Colin Boyce at the Guyana Police Force (GPF) Sports Secretariat at Eve Leary, Georgetown on Friday, July 13. These trophies cost in total $42,000, and are for the upcoming GPF athletics championships as prizes for the winners of the 1500m Male Open race; the 400m race for female youth club members, and the 400m race for male youth club members.
Ms Sears-Murray promised to present six more trophies from GPL to cover 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for the ACC 2012.
In accepting the trophies, Boyce revealed how very pleased he was with GPL’s sponsorship, and that he was looking forward to continuation of that partnership.
