FOR the second successive week, the Guyana Football Federation (GFF), faced with unavoidable developments, was forced to postpone its Super 8 Knock-Out tournament which was scheduled to commence tonight. The action will now commence on Friday 20th, at the Georgetown Football Club (GFC) with two matches at 18:00hrs, with national champions Alpha United and Buxton United meeting in the first game and at 20:00hrs. Rosignol United and Den Amstel will come up against each other.
The action continues on Sunday, when Milerock and Western Tigers challenge each other in the first game at 18:00hrs and at 20:00hrs, Pele and Amelia’s Ward will throw down the gauntlet at each other.
The semifinals are scheduled for next Wednesday at the GFC ground, while the final which is scheduled to kick off on Sunday, July 29 from 1830hrs will take place at the world renowned Georgetown Cricket Club ground.
