WE, the workers, totalling about 300 security guards, are voicing our complaint with respect to payment of our salaries. For last March, we got paid in April; and for April, in May. Workers and their families are starving. Are we in Africa or India? The chairman and REO are turning  blind eyes and deaf ears to our concerns; so we are calling on the legal authorities, the Labour Minister and President Donald Ramotar, to look into our plight.
It’s inhumane and ridiculous. We cannot find the right words to describe this situation. Many shop owners have stopped our accounts. Who will send our children to school? Who will pay our bills?
Incompetence is at its highest level. We have to get the ‘rat’ before he finds himself a hole. Come on, Mr. Labour Minister!”
