THE Courts’ Mother’s Day promotion having just ended, the furniture giant on Tuesday presented Rudolph Budhan, Carol Realine, Nazema Jabbar, Lyndon Scott, Ishwar Chand Itwar, and Daniel Thomas with the rather “shiny” King’s Jewellery World gift certificates, each valued at $50,000. Tamara Henry, representing the company’s Accounts Department, did the honours on behalf of Courts Guyana Limited.
The promotion was that any customer who shopped a minimum of $30,000 was entitled to a coupon, providing them with a shot at winning one of those certificates.
Drawing took place on May 18 last, at the Courts Accounts Department in the presence of the Inventory Supervisor and an external auditor from Ram and Mc Rae accounting agency.
Each of the certificate recipients declared how happy they were to have won in the promotion, and that they had always been loyal customers at courts.
Another ceremony will be held to present an 8GB Apple IPod to Gavin Thomas who has won the Courts Facebook Mother’s Day promotion, yet another part of the Courts’ Mother’s Day promotions.
This Facebook promotion was based upon an individual’s uploaded picture or video of a moment with their mother. There were hundreds of entries, but Thomas’s picture was voted best.
It is the furniture company’s belief that mothers are the bedrock of a good family, and Courts is truly thankful to have had this opportunity to show its appreciation to mothers.
Courts is always proud and honoured to play a role in the enhancement of family living in each Guyanese home, thus standing true to its motto of “bringing value home”.
