IN his book ‘The Making of Guyanese Literature’, the late Dr. A.J. Seymour states of me: “There is a tone of high morality and the sanctity of the family pervading his work as befits a Brahmin, and we find small vignettes culled from experience and expressed in the manner of Tagore. He … expresses the cry of the poor…”
Mr. Editor, 34 years after the above was written, I still believe in high morality, the sanctity of the family and the need for the plight of the poor to be addressed.
The above, in my opinion, should go hand in hand with economic growth.
My belief in high morality
