I AM falling hard for my best guy friend. We have a “friends with benefits” relationship. He also pays for things for me, and cooks for me. He even stated he wants to take me to Japan next year, which is my dream vacation. I am basically part of his family. He says one thing he wants is a family, and to find a girl who does also. Well, that’s me! The problem? He still loves his ‘ex’, and he told me he isn’t attracted to me. I think otherwise. Should I talk to him about it, or keep our relationship the same, and hope he sees me as more than one of his best friends?

He talks to you about the woman he hopes to marry, and he’s decided that isn’t you. Staying with him as a friend with benefits may get you a trip to Japan, but you will never be more than his geisha.
