Women on bail for unlawful wounding

LASHAUNA Green of Albouystown Thursday appeared before Georgetown Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton, charged with unlawful wounding, wherein she was alleged to have unlawfully and maliciously wounded Mellissa Ford at Albuoystown, Georgetown on March 26. Green pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Meanwhile, Mellissa Ford was charged with common assault, wherein she was alleged to have unlawfully assaulted Lashauna Green on March 26 at Albuoystown, Georgetown.
She also pleaded not guilty to the charge, and both women applied for bail, which was granted to Ford at $10,000, and Green at $15,000.
The women were cautioned to stay away from each other, and advised that further behaviour of this kind committed by either of them throughout the time of the court proceedings would be visited by far more serious judicial action.
They were both asked to return to court on April 17.
