These people need urgent help

A FEW weeks ago, the residents of Bel Air Village were delighted and relieved when their trenches were dug out and cleared.
Heaps of silt and grass were piled high at the side of the narrow roads, and residents were prepared to endure the inconvenience of single file traffic for a day or two as they awaited the trucks that would collect the waste matter. About five weeks have passed and 1st Street, Bel Air Village (and some surrounding areas) still cannot accommodate two-way traffic as the roadside is strewn with the now drying grass and what’s left of the silt that has not slid back into the trenches.

Sir, is there no-one who supervises these works? Can someone in authority tell us when the filth from the trenches will be removed from our streets?
