POLICE have issued a wanted bulletin for Shawn Rodney, who is wanted for questioning in relation to murder. Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Rodney is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers: 268-2343, 225-2227, 226-1326, 268-2298, 225-6411, 911 or the nearest police station.
The police said all information will be treated with strict confidence.
According to the police, Rodney is of African ethnicity, dark in complexion and medium built. His  date of birth is listed as 1975-07-12. The police said his last known address is Lot 72 Boodhoo Housing Scheme, Blankenburg, West Coast Demerara & Golden Grove Housing Scheme, East Coast Demerara.
So far, the local authorities have been unsuccessful in locating Rodney, who hurriedly left the country after he repeatedly stabbed his wife to death in their home on January 17, 2012.
Police said the body of Rushelle McDonald, 33, of Boodhoo Housing Scheme at Blankenburg, was found at about 12:00 hrs in the kitchen of her home, with multiple stab wounds.
Three blood-stained knives were found at the scene by the police.
Acting on information that the suspect had escaped in motor car PNN 9420, police ranks in all divisions were alerted and the vehicle was found abandoned on the public road at Carlton Hall, Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara.
Meanwhile, a post-mortem revealed the cause of death to be asphyxiation due to a severed trachea as a result of an incised wound to the neck, compounded by incised wounds to the body.
