GT&T 10/10 Registration closes tomorrow

… Playoffs to bowl off on March 3; first draw in SUV promotion set for this week
THE hours are winding down for teams to complete registration in order to be a part of the GT&T 10/10 nationwide male and female softball cricket competitions. Registration will close tomorrow, February 20, 2012.
Teams have already benefited from an extension to the original cut-off date and according to a GT&T official there would be no more extensions.
The playoffs will bowl off on Saturday March 3 and, according to reports, the number of teams is approaching the 1 000 mark.
Apart from adverse weather conditions, a number of other factors would have contributed to the registration extension.
Speaking with a number of officials attached to various teams, it was stated that teams are very serious in their preparations and quest to win the top prize in both the male and female aspects of the tournament.
They are just not content with participation but are making serious efforts to cash in on the more than 30 million dollars in cash and prizes that will be up for grabs.
Many of the identified grounds would have had to stall preparations due to consistent rain but that is no longer an issue with great improvement in the weather.
Once all the registrations forms are in, organisers have said that the fixtures would be done and published in the press.
Meanwhile, It was also revealed that the first draw in the SUV texting competition will be held sometime this week. Lucky GT&T customers will have the chance to win iPods, iPads, BlackBerry phones, flat screen TVs and credit, among other attractive prizes.
GT&T customers are encouraged to text as much as possible to increase their chances of winning the grand prize of the SUV.
Persons can text REGISTER to 620-FSUV (3788) and answer four (4) questions correctly which would entitle them to one coupon to enter the competition. More coupons will enhance your chances to win.
Answers to the questions can be had from the colourful GT&T 10/10 Magazine 2012 edition. The Magazine is also the only medium for teams to get the registration forms for the cricket competition.
