TECHNICAL Director and head coach Mark Rodrigues has indicated that a 20-member team will depart Toronto on Wednesday for Havana, Cuba, to join Trinidad & Tobago, Puerto Rico, and host Cuba in the final round of the Women’s qualifying round which kicks off on Friday in Cuba. The Lady Jags have defined a motto to take them through the qualifier and onwards: Belief is the Trigger to Action and Success.  Preparations, he stated, were done without the players from the UK and the USA and he has worked on a lot of set plays and tactical works which he feels would form the basis of the team’s moving through to the next round.

Guyana will clash with Cuba on January 7, Trinidad & Tobago on the 9th and will conclude against Puerto Rico on the 11th.
