CARICOM to observe Jamaica elections

THE Caribbean Community (CARICOM) will mount a mission to observe elections in Jamaica on December 29, 2011. The CARICOM Electoral Observer Mission will be led by Mr. Winston O’neale Estwick, Chief Elections Officer of Barbados, and will include representatives from Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, St. Kitts and Nevis, Suriname and the CARICOM Secretariat.
According to a statement from the CARICOM Secretariat in Georgetown, the team will be in Jamaica from 26-31 December.
