A suspect has been identified, but not yet arrested, in the Matthews Ridge murder which occurred on Sunday. Police reported that Raymond Roberts, 25, of Child Hill, Matthews Ridge, North West District, was killed on Sunday at Black Banana, Matthews Ridge.
Roberts was allegedly beaten with a spade by a man who accused him of theft and he subsequently died.
The body is at the Matthews Ridge Hospital mortuary awaiting a post mortem.
