Woman paramour damages windows after getting marching orders
A WOMAN was on Thursday put on $50,000 bail when she appeared in court, charged with damage to property.
Nicola Bacchus  pleaded not guilty to having broken the windows, valued $68,000, belonging to her paramour, Reginald Atkins.

Police Sergeant Lionel Harvey, prosecuting, told Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry that the incident occurred after Atkins ended their relationship and informed Bacchus that she would have to remove from his house.
The prosecutor said the defendant became annoyed and attempted to throw hot water on Atkins but did not succeed;  she then threw a piece of wood causing the windows to break.
Bacchus is expected to make another court appearance on October 24.
