BANKS DIH turned in a reputable contribution to the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) ahead of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) Regional Super50 competition which is being hosted in Guyana from October 19 – 29. Mortimer Stewart, Banks DIH’s Outdoor Events Manager made the presentation to the Amazon Conquerors’ captain Assad Fudadin in the presence of the team and coaches during a practice session yesterday at the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) Ground.
Banks donated the use of the Powerade energy drink and Aqua Mist water for the team throughout the tournament and also an undisclosed sum of money.
Stewart stated that his company was pleased to be assisting the association and the team in their endeavour to produce their best in the competition.
Meanwhile, GCB’s Marketing Manager Troy Mendonca expressed appreciation to the sponsor on behalf of the board and that they hope for the company’s continued support in the future.
