All systems in place for Windies vs Pakistan Women’s matches

… GCB still needs support; teams arrive today
THE Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) at a press briefing yesterday announced that all systems are in place for the Guyana leg of the Pakistan Women’s Tour to the West Indies as the teams arrive today.
According to GCB president Ramsey Ali, as far as the aspects of security,
transportation and accommodation go all systems are in place so that they (GCB) can treat these players well like they normally do.
The teams will be staying at the Princess Hotel and are scheduled for practice at the National Stadium tonight from 08:00hrs.
Guyana will host two day/night Twenty20 matches at the Guyana National Stadium between West Indies and Pakistan Women tomorrow and Sunday from 18:00hrs with Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana Under-19 going head-to-head in two Twenty/20 matches at  13:00hrs on both days also.
Admission into the stadium is free both days while parking inside the venue will cost $500.
West Indies are currently leading the four-match Twenty20 series 2-0 after trouncing the Pakistanis on Wednesday in Grenada, in the second match.
However, the GCB boss said that there was not a significant amount of funding in the budget to properly facilitate the proper promotion of the match-up, hence, he is sending out the call for support.
Meanwhile, preparations for the WICB Regional Super 50 competition are on stream and the board recently took initial steps to make their progress clear to the WICB ahead of the event.
