Wild Bunch wins Jeet Brothers three way dominoes

IT was indeed a keen contest today when the curtains will come down on the Jeet Brothers sponsored three way dominoes featuring International 6, Wild Bunch and Canal 6 in Canal No. 1 on Saturday last. This match sponsored by the Jeet Brothers namely Bazil, Rico and Boogie of Richmond Hill who are formerly from Henry Street saw Canal Six winning the match with 81 games followed by Wild Bunch with 74 games and International 6 , who seemingly was contented losing by two games, on 72.
Wild Bunch took top honours after the points were tallied from the previous matches to emerge victorious.  In the previous encounters the points standing were Wild Bunch with 154 games with International 6 on their heels with 153 games and Canal 6 with 143 games.
The final point standings were Wild Bunch with 228 games, International 6, 225 games and Canal who made a remarkable comeback with 224 games. Up for grabs were, a winner’s trophy, a second place trophy , three watches for the best player on each team and a cap for the first love shared in the competition.
The winning trophy was awarded by overseas- based Frederick Halley on behalf of the Jeet Brothers to the winning and runners- up teams while William Hardy was the recipient of a cap for sharing the first love. R. Sukhai, Jermain Taylor and Intikab Ali were adjudged the best player overall on each team with them receiving a wrist watch each.
