Rain again ravages second day of WICB Under-19 matches

GEORGETOWN, Guyana (CMC) – Overnight and morning rain has ruined play for the second successive day in all three fourth-round matches in the WICB Regional Under-19 Championship yesterday. Not a ball was possible at any of the venues as rain continued to cloak the capital Georgetown, keeping outfields under water.
Leaders Jamaica are facing Leeward Islands at Everest while second-placed Trinidad & Tobago are down to face third-placed Barbados at the Demerara Cricket Club.
At Bourda, hosts Guyana are due to meet reigning champions Windward Islands.
Weather also ravaged the last round of matches though Jamaica and T&T still managed to emerge with full points from their fixtures.
Jamaica lead the standings with 28 points, T&T have 24.3, Barbados are third with 20.3, Guyana follow with 15.8 while the Windwards have mustered 7.3, and Leewards 6.7.
