A FORMER supervisor along with three staffers of Jumbo Jet Auto Sales, are currently ‘wanted’ by the police following reports of an alleged theft of spare parts totalling $2.6M from the company’s Bush Lot Village location, on the West Coast of Berbice.
Chief Executive Officer of Jumbo Jet Auto Sales Mr. Nazurdeen Mohan reported that, following an investigation, he discovered that the Caterpillar brand of two pairs of chain guides, a pair of track chain, four pairs of sprockets, and twenty-two pairs of rollers were missing on July 11, last.
He said his staffers, including a supervisor, a driver and two porters, who were based at the Company’s workshop at Chester Village, loaded the articles into a truck and the same were taken to an East Coast Demerara location where the items were sold.
Investigations are continuing.
