Obnoxious comedian shows gross disrespect to government officials, women
MANY invitees to the PNCR’s national youth convention at the party’s Sophia headquarters at the weekend were upset at the gross disrespect to prominent government officials and women at the hands of comedian ‘Chubby’.
His performance was obnoxious and distasteful as he called the names of public officials, including President Bharrat Jagdeo and Police Commissioner Henry Greene.
Even media personnel covering the convention were upset at this opening session of the event, and many more mature persons walked out of the opposition party’s headquarters.
After a while, the organizers themselves realized that many in the audience were upset at the poor taste, and the opening session was curtailed.
