Duo jointly charged with stealing $210,000 in clothing released on bail

ANTON Evans and Obel Prass (no address given) yesterday appeared in a Georgetown court on a joint simple larceny charge.
The duo appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton and was not required to plead to the indictable charge, which stated that, between December 20 and 30, 2010, they stole a quantity of clothing valued $210,000 property of Patricia Crossman.

Evans told the court that he recently came out of prison and the police want to pin another charge on him.
Police Corporal Venetta Pindar, prosecuting, had no objection to bail and the defendants were released on $40,000 bail each. The matter will be called again on May 27.
