– Man pleads guilty saying, “Your worship, I cuss she up because she put juice in a small vodka bottle for my son to take to school…”
A MAN was yesterday fined $10,000 with an alternative of two weeks imprisonment, after he made use of abusive language to his reputed wife whom he claimed put juice in a ‘Vodka bottle’ for his son to take to school. Clarence Bristol (no address given) appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry and pleaded guilty to the charge, which stated that he made use of abusive language to Melissa Ramsay on April 7.
The defendant, representing himself, admitted to the court that he did use ‘abusive words’ to the virtual complainant after she put juice in a vodka bottle for his son to take to school.
“Your worship, I cuss she up because she put juice in a small vodka bottle for my son to take to school…,” Bristol said.
“…and she cuss me back too,” he added.
The man’s reputed wife was not in court yesterday.
