AFC scratching for some publicity

I NOTE the increasing frequency of statements by the Alliance For Change (AFC) in the public and sections of the media regarding the National Communications Network Inc (NCN).
Before now, I have refrained from commenting or refused to be drawn into meaningless responses. However, I am now convinced that the AFC is scratching for some publicity.
Ms Holder recently reported on the “present government instructed policy of refusing the parliamentary opposition parties’ access to the state media.”
Of course it sounds nice and one should not be surprised at such a blanket statement coming from where it did.
As the Programme Manager at NCN, I wish to state that there is no such policy, or at least I am not aware of  it. What we have is a policy on quality.
The latest charges that NCN denied placement of an advertisement by one of its activists, (Michael) Carrington, is simply baseless.
Recently, Mr Carrington presented an advertisement in the form of a written statement to be aired on television. The material was poorly written and presented, with no substance or message.

He was advised to make the necessary corrections and return. He never did. It has also been brought to my attention that other media houses refused to place the “ad’ in the form presented.

I find it difficult to see how Ms Holder perceives this to be a denial of the placement. This is standard procedure and it has been applied to all of our clients, including government agencies and NGOs.
The fact that Ms Holder, as concerned as she claims to be, chose to make public statements that are unfounded and did not seek any clarification from NCN, or simply give me a call, is a demonstration of her (own words) wickedness towards the Company.
