CONTINENTAL Foods Inc., a member of the Continental Group of Companies, manufacturers and distributors of Sunburst Orange Juice, last  Saturday  made a timely donation of water bottles to the teams participating in the ongoing Lens Craft Optical/Sunburst Orange Juice Under-15 football tournament in the city.
Company Secretary Percival Boyce Jr handed over the bottles to players and coaches from the various clubs during the second day of competition at the Georgetown Football Club Ground.

Boyce said that Sunburst was pleased to make the contribution to the teams apart from co-sponsoring the tournament which was the brainchild of Allistair Parris, owner of Lens Craft Optical.
Boyce complimented the players and coaches for the competitive level displayed so far in the competition and urged club administrators to focus more energy on the development of players at the junior level.
The clubs benefiting were: Sunburst Camptown, Fruta Conquerors, Pele, Santos BK International Western Tigers, Riddim Squad, Flamingo, Renaissance and Georgetown Football Club.
The coaches and players collectively voiced their gratitude for the donation of the bottles and promised to continue doing their best throughout the tournament which will continue tomorrow at the tournament venue, GFC Ground.
