HEAD of the Presidential Secretariat, Dr Roger Luncheon yesterday handed over monetary donations to two football teams that will be representing Guyana at the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) games in Suriname. Accepting the grant, which was handed over on behalf of the Administration at the Office of the President were Head Coach of the Milerock Football Club, Bryan Joseph, and president of Alpha United team Odinga Lumumba.
Government has remained committed to fostering the development of sport in Guyana. This has seen several monetary interventions and support to teams in their quest to secure a spot for the country on the international sport arena.
