CHAITRAM Soknarine, 43, was killed in an accident that occurred at about 17:00h  on Thursday, at Barama Road, Buck Hall.
The victim, of Anna Regina, was in company with Trevor Pearson and Earnko Pearson, of Mainstay, in the tray of a motor lorry.
The vehicle was proceeding along the Barama Road when the driver is reported to have lost control and it toppled, resulting in the three men suffering injuries.
They were taken to Suddie Hospital, also on Essequibo Coast, where Sooknarine was pronounced dead on arrival.
Trevor Pearson was referred to Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) and Earnko Person remained a patient at Suddie Hospital, Police reported.
