Illegal gun, ammo defendant remanded through May 19

JOSEPH Barker (no address given) was yesterday remanded to prison by Magistrate Hazel Octave-Hamilton on charges of illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition. He pleaded not guilty to the offences, particulars of which said, on February 11, he had one .38 revolver and five rounds of matching ammunition without being the holder of licences for them.
Attorney-at-law Mr. Peter Hugh, for the defendant, requested an early trial date and the Court set May 19.
