One vendor on theft charge, other with threatening

ONE vendor, Ray Edinboro, of Lot 44 West Ruimveldt Housing Scheme, pleaded not guilty to a charge of simple larceny yesterday and was put on $10,000 bail.
Before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry, Police Sergeant Lionel Harvey, prosecuting, alleged that the defendant, on January 26, stole a pair of female jeans, valued $6,500, property of ‘Colours Store’ in Robb Street, Lacytown, also in Georgetown.
The case has been transferred to another Court for January 31.
Another vendor, Claymont Telman, of Lot 113 Sophia, in Greater Georgetown, too, appeared before the same magistrate and pleaded not guilty to having, on January 21, made use of threatening behaviour to Simone (only name stated).
He was granted $20,000 bail and his case was transferred to a different court, as well, for March 3.
