POLICE were, yesterday, still hunting for the suspects in the robbery at Popeye’s Fast Food restaurant on Wednesday night. The restaurant, on Vlissengen Road, was robbed about 20:35 hrs, when Customer Representative, Sherry Ann Calendar, was attacked by two men, one of whom was armed with a gun.
The robbers entered the place, held Calendar at gunpoint and ordered the customers to lie on the floor, robbing all of them of a total of $711,370 in cash with which they escaped.
