I WOULD like to say ‘Thanks’ to the Minister of Housing and Water and the Government of Guyana for allocating reserve lands starting from Dennis Street to Digicel Tower and continuing to GT&T’s tower parallel to ‘C’ Field South Turkeyen to the citizens of Guyana for them to engage in commercial activities and thus creating an economic zone in that area. We hope the commencement and completion of various infrastructural works will soon be realised, thus benefiting the residents of Sophia Housing Scheme, Turkeyen Housing Scheme and Cummings lodge Housing Scheme.
We hope that more residents of Cummings Lodge, Cummings Park, North and South Turkeyen, Pattensen Turkeyen, North and South Sophia and Plum Park would be given access to this project when completed.
