WAYNE Prescott (no address given), charged with drug possession, was granted $5,000 bail yesterday.
He appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry and pleaded not guilty to having two grammes cannabis (marijuana) on January 5.
The defendant claimed he was framed by two policemen, who picked up something off the ground and said it belonged to him.
His case was transferred to another Court for January 14.
