TREVON Nedd, 19, of Lot 89 Victoria Public Road, East Coast Demerara, was granted $100,000 bail, on a larceny from the person charge yesterday. He appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry and pleaded not guilty to the offence, particulars of which said, on December 28, he stole one gold chain, valued $260,000, from Lorraine Liverpool.
Police Inspector Stephen Telford, prosecuting, said the jewel was not recovered but he did not object to bail for the defendant.
The case will be called, again, on January 3.
